Tract House

Returning to my car in a LA parking lot its common to find small pamphlets that have been left on my car window. These small tract usually consist of religious iconography and psalms. Los Angeles Artist Lisa Auerbach show "Tract House" at the Baltimore Museum of Art will feature thousands of tracts, created by the artist as well as her friends, friends of friends, etc. They feature stories, lyrics, manifestos, directions.

Peta vs. Olsen Twins

According to LA Times Peta 2, which is their youth organization, is releasing a major campaign against the Olsen Twins. The twins have a history of extensive fur use. PETA 2's campaign "Fur is worn by beutiful animals and ugly people" starts this week. Taking a break from red paint, Peta is asking the public to send lockletts of their hair to the Olsen's for their 22 birthday with a note that reads, "Please, use my hair instead of the animals'.
